There are often a lot of comments saying it can’t be me when people see photos of me with a beard. I wore one for a while in The Guess Who and also around the time I recorded my solo album Heart.
The Deverons was the name of the first band I was in. A number of these t-shirts were given to me years ago by a couple who have attended many of my shows. I still wear them onstage occasionally.
I’m thankful today, on Mother’s Day and every day, that I had the mother I did. She made my life more than special and gave me every part of herself. I miss her now and always will.
Just over two weeks till rehearsals start for the Canadian leg of the Guess Who tour. Really looking forward to getting back on the road with Randy and the band. First stops are Moncton, NB and Halifax, NS before working our way west.
